How Can you Actually Become Successful in Life?

Success is a lifelong goal everyone wants from the day they can understand what the word means. However, what most people don’t understand is that success is different for everyone.

Not everyone wants more money, fame, or expensive cars with a horse emblem on it (Ferrari).

A lot of people know me as an entrepreneur and I live by that title. Some people believe when they hear my message that success comes from having more money. Well, they are wrong. Let me set you straight. Success is whatever makes your heart sing. Success is doing what you love regardless of what anyone thinks.

If you like going to your 9-5 job because it enriches your life, then keep it. (However, I haven’t met many people who actually love their 9-5 job. Maybe that’s why people think I only speak of success as making more money so that they can leave those jobs behind.)

Success is doing what you want regardless of the monetary rewards.

For instance, when I first started as an entrepreneur, I didn’t make anything. Yeah, I made absolutely nothing, but it didn’t stop me from doing what I loved.

Others think that in order to be happy and successful, they have to do a complete change of their life. Well, wrong again. Success is about taking small steps that add up to a big change.

If you hate your current job, for example, start learning skills to better your life in areas that you actually love. Not everyone has the luxury of quitting their jobs , but you don’t have to live a miserable life either.

Life and success is all about doing the things you enjoy and love doing.

The hard part in becoming successful isn’t the actual work; it’s not the busting-your-ass part that makes success hard. What makes it hard is figuring out what you want to do in the first place.

When you can figure that out, nothing will stand in your way of achieving success. However, if something does get in your way, you will overcome it because passion and love go deep.

The universe is amazing in that it has no trouble breaking the laws of space and time. That’s because our creator willed it into existence. If you take that and apply it into your life, anything is possible.

If you look throughout history, we have been taught that there are limits and rules, and there are things that cannot be done. However, there are those who stand for something more than just “settling” and accepting life as it is.

They break the rules and do things others said they can’t do; they think outside of the box. This is where I live and grow as a human being (outside the box).

People become successful by their sheer will and love for what they do. They don’t succeed because they were told it’s the right thing to do.

The problem is, most of us are socially conditioned in school that we are supposed to work for others and do things even if we don’t really like it, just to keep the status quo.

There’s no problem with working for others—if that’s your thing. It only becomes a big problem when you don’t like it and if your passion lies elsewhere. Success comes from never settling for something just because others said so. Success is going after what you want and never giving up.

After all, it’s true that life is what you make it. If you believe “that’s just how life is,” then you will never find success because you will never overcome the limits others imposed on you.

It has been scientifically proven that when you believe something to be true, it will come true. If you drive to work thinking that you’re going to be late, 99.9 out of 100 times you will be late.

If you think about not being able to achieve something and you constantly worry about it, you will create that outcome every time in your life.

On the other hand, if you choose to believe that life is in your control and you can do anything you put your mind to, whether it’s physical or mental, then the universe will help you make that happen.

The bottom line: the answer to the burning question of how to become successful is simply this—do the things that you really want to do because when you love what you’re doing, your life will be INCREDIBLE.

If it’s wealth you seek, then help others less fortunate than you and you will soon learn what it is you need to obtain all the money in the world.

Look at Tony Robbins for example. He read over 700 books in over seven years, all in the area of psychology, sociology, and physiology—anything that he could get his hands on to make a difference in other people’s lives. That’s truly BAD ASS!

The world we now live in is incredible. At the touch of a button, we can learn and grow as a human beings. We can connect with people on the other side of the globe in mere seconds.

If you believe that you aren’t successful because of your job, your income, your health, your friends, your car, or whatever your excuse is, remember this: it was your decision to not become successful.

You settled with what you have, fearing change.

Indeed, some people are afraid of change, afraid of being successful. They accept what they have and don’t bother chasing after their passion. They knew what they wanted to do in their life, but they chose the path that was more comfortable, the path chosen for them by others.

In my mind I fear that more than anything (choosing the path that’s more comfortable, the path chosen by others) because when people choose the “comfortable path” they regret not having changed it sooner. The sad part they only realize this by the time their life comes to an end when their time is almost up.

Why would they do this?

Well, that’s social conditioning for you. We’re told to go to school, get a job, get married, have 2.5 kids, a house with a white picket fence, and when we’re old and gray, retire and wonder, “Is this it? What the hell was I thinking?”

In most cases, thinking outside of the box is considered wrong because it’s the “risky” thing to do.

The cold hard truth here, however, is that thinking outside the box is where your intuition lies. When you follow it, you will be on track to becoming truly successful in everything you do in your life and business.

Listen to what your heart has to say and never give in to what others think is best for you. It is your life, not theirs, and you have the right to live it any way you want to.
