How to Improve Your Blog Immediately to 10x Your Engagement

One of the best things you can do for your site after you have everything up and running—is to understand how others perceive your site. You want to understand how they navigate it, how far down do they scroll, what distracts them, and how to improve for better engagement.

One of the great tools I mention — CrazyEgg.com

The million dollar tip — Write Irresistible Headlines.

Headlines are one of the most important parts of your website because without a headline no one will care to dig deeper into your site. Without a compelling headline, even the most comprehensive blog post will go unread and noticed. Master the art of headline writing and you will gain far more eyes in your site.

Use images when relevent

You should try to use images whenever relevant because they can make your readers far more engaged when compared to just blogs with endless amounts of text.

The internet is meant for images, if all you plan on writing and creating is text then maybe you should try writing books as most books are all about text.

Images can deepen the story and further the readers engagement by 70%.

Next is you should choose a great comment system the one I currently use is Disqus commenting system.

Mix it up and find your sweet spot.

If you look at someone like Neil Patel he knowns his audience and writes long blog posts sometimes 10 thousand words or more.

If it’s easy for you to write long post that are value giving it doesn’t mean it’s going to work for your engagement. As a matter of fact it might do the opposite.

There is no magic formula for content engagement and the success of your site, despite what some would have you believe. Every market is different.

So … vary the length and format of your content to make it as appealing as possible to different kinds of readers. You never know, a short piece of content might work better than a 10 thousand work article.

Share… Share… Share… & Share some More!

The most important aspects of 10xing your engagement is to simply share your content because it’s not as easy as just writing it and throwing it up on your site.

You need to share it with all the social networks you’re using and if you don’t have any social accounts… get started with them ASAP. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Periscope, and many others are all free tools and if you expect to get anywhere with your content you need to be using these platforms.

That’s it!
